Joomla! Community Websites
This was the original philosophy behind the whole Joomla! project and is certainly the most fulfilling and rewarding use of the Content Management System as far as Bathcomms are concerned. We thrive in helping organisations become online communities and equipping them with the tools to implement collaborative workflow.

Our first community website built using the award winning Joomla! content management system.
This site features a content management system with advanced user administration, has an online conference booking facility and a shopping cart. Users of the site have access to discussion forums and document downloads and management.

Christian Vision for Men were one of our clients who already had an established web presence but had reached the stage where their static website needed to become driven by a content management system, providing the building blocks to establish an online community.
The site features a members' extranet full of information, publications, documents and integration with their in-house database.

The Harvest Church website is a good example of how easy it is to migrate a static brochure website to Joomla! 1.5 in a cost effective way.
Now code modules (menus, side-bars etc...) can be added, moved or removed at the touch of a button and content can be kept up-to-date using a standards-compliant WYSIWYG content editor, without needing to have any understanding of web authoring languages whatsoever.

The Map Action website springs into life when the team deploy to a disaster zone somewhere in the world. The extranet provides valuable communications between internal members and external associates.
Both the extranet and the public website feature document management in the form of the Joomla! DOCMan component to handle the management, release and download of their maps, as well as other documents.

When a local charity and fine art publishing house joined forces to create Paint 4 Poverty, Bathcomms knew that Joomla! was exactly what they needed. It enabled them to populate the website, in-house, with 100s of articles and to keep the news section of the site up-to-date.
Using the website as a marketing tool, to display the celebrity artwork to be auctioned, helped Paint 4 Poverty raise £36,000.

Another example of a Joomla! website build to a budget, where branding isn't a top priority but good quality and regularly updated content is.
The Reformational UK website is a classic example of how Joomla! can be used as a collaborative content tool. The site also makes use of MP3 modules, where visitors to the site are invited to listen to audio recordings of public talks by respected speakers.

Wellspring is a good example of how flexible Joomla! is when it comes to integration and prototyping. The site is partially made up of static pages with a few key updatable areas being handled by Joomla!.
Not even the old look and feel had to be changed, providing a gradual migration from a static site to a Joomla! Content Management driven one.
