Spam No More
Wednesday 09 April 2008

Spam mail is an incredibly frustrating problem for many email users today. You know the story; Monday morning, you turn on the computer and open your email client. You wince as you click that button to fetch your mail in anticipation of the deluge of indecent, frivolous, time-wasting emails soon to appear in your Inbox. The problem can range from mild irritation to strong frustration as you grapple with sorting legitimate and illegitimate emails as well as avoiding exposure to graphic and horrendous content.

Well, at Bathcomms we’ve decided to take positive action to reduce the stress of this communications malady. Over the last few weeks we have been testing Spam Assassin on our server. This highly rated tool uses complex scoring systems to detect and take action on spam messages.

We will be rolling this system out across our accounts shortly. In the mean time if you are snowed under with spam, give us a call and we can set up this system to work with your email insuring that you receive only what you need to receive.
